Dr. Michael Segall

As a native of the Jersey Shore, Dr. Segall treasures the memories of his formative years spent with family and friends. At the end of high school, he embarked on a quest to fulfill three distinct aspirations: to become a healer, to engage in public service, and to explore the world. Dr. Segall’s true calling in orthodontics revealed itself during his college years while he worked at his uncle’s orthodontic practice. This field captivated him with its unique combination of health sciences, artistic expression, engineering, physics, and innovative techniques.

In his senior year of college, Dr. Segall was approached by a US Army healthcare recruiter, who encouraged him to apply for the Health Professions Scholarship Program. He learned it was possible to pursue his passion for orthodontics, all while serving this great nation and its defenders. Dr. Segall accepted this opportunity to become an Army officer and spent over a decade carrying out various missions and assignments. He was fortunate to spend time in Germany providing comprehensive orthodontic care to service members and their families. His experiences abroad allowed him and his wife to immerse themselves in the cultures of over 20 European countries.

Dr. Segall’s professional journey has been remarkable, spanning two decades and taking him from Beantown to the City of Brotherly Love to the Lone Star State. He has successfully completed several prestigious degree programs and residencies, along with a wide array of professional and military courses and training. His dedication, talent, and skills have won him numerous academic accolades and professional recognitions. Dr. Segall remains committed to lifelong education, self-improvement, and clinical excellence. His extensive expertise extends to treating children and adults, encompassing fixed and removable appliances, interdisciplinary care, growth modification, aligner therapy, and other advanced modalities.
